GIVE UP TO $400…RECEIVE UP TO $400

Interfaith Cooperative Ministries qualifies under the Helping the Working Poor tax credit for tax year 2009 .  Taxpayers filing as single, married filing separately and unmarried head of household have a maximum credit of $200. Taxpayers that are married filing jointly have a maximum credit of $400.

The only criteria for taking advantage of this tax credit is that you must itemize your deductions. The law was changed earlier this year by the state legislature, making it easier for qualifying charities to benefit from the tax credit.

  • The credit is figured on amounts over and above the baseline. A first-donor to ICM may qualify if all conditions are met.
  • The credit may be claimed in addition to other types of tax credits , such as those for public or private schools. We recommend you consult your tax advisor. Questions may also be answered by calling AZ Dept. of Revenue at 602-255-3381, or 1-800-352-4090, or by going to this website:www.revenue.state.az.us

  • Click here to donate online now, or you can also send a check directly to ICM at PO Box 2225, Phoenix, AZ 85002.
